The Gold Standard

By Caitlyn RN

According to the National Institute of Health, "The “gold standard” for testing interventions in people is the “randomized, placebo-controlled” clinical trial." A placebo is, "an inactive substance that looks like the drug or treatment being tested".

Some of you may be unaware, but for some reason these standards don't apply when doing vaccine trials. So let's look and see what they're using for placebos in the COVID vaccine trials, shall we.

Ad5-vectored COVID-19 vaccine trial placebo:

VACCINE EXCIPIENTS (that's all the extra junk they put in vaccines to stimulate an immune response, like aluminum and cells from aborted babies)

ChAdOx1 nCoV-19 vaccine trial placebo:

MENINGOCOCCAL VACCINE (MenACWY)

mRNA-1273 vaccine trial placebo has yet to be seen, but I can almost guarantee it won't be inert.

Comparing one bad thing to another bad thing may make the first bad thing seem not so bad. Don't be fooled.
